We absolutely love to see a local business thriving! Their new shop in state street is just as cool as the original. The decor is thoughtful, aesthetic, and inviting, creating a space you'll actually want to hang out in for a while. From the vibrant menus to the hanging bikes off the cycling , every detail makes it feel unique , fun, and welcoming. The drinks are always incredible, and my go to for the past few months has been the Hermosa - it's refreshing, tropical, and basically summer in a cup. One of my all time favorites! But I may have found a new obsession...the La Jolla is one of my newest favorite of their dirty sodas .This drink is perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and creaminess, while the peach adds a subtle fruity finish that ties it all together. It's dangerously good, and I'm already planning my next trip back for another. One of the biggest reasons I love supporting Cuso’s Creamery is the people behind it. The owners are genuinely some of the kindest you'll meet, and it shows in the atmosphere they've created and the incredible team they've built.

Disappointing experience. The staff looked like they did not want to be there—no smiles, no positive energy, and very little friendliness. I also noticed employees using the same gloves after touching clothing and other non-food surfaces, which raised concerns about hygiene. The overall experience did not match the quality or atmosphere we expected from a homemade ice cream shop, so we decided to leave without ordering.

🤩🤩🤩 Hands down the best ice cream ever!! I’m not that crazy about ice cream in general, but this place is incredible!! Vibrant flavor and super smooth consistency!! And let’s talk about the cinnamon waffle cone 🫠 we will be going back before we leave Santa Barbara!! It’s been settled… it’s 6am and it’s our first decision of the day… Cuso creamery for the win!

Chewy texture ice cream. The staff was nice. The ice cream was a bit too sweet for my taste. There’re few sitting available.

When I took my first bite of the “Hot Honey Comb,” I immediately understood why this spot is so highly rated. It’s now at the top of my list of favorite ice cream spots. Food: The portions are incredibly generous—one scoop was piled high, almost overflowing. The ice cream itself was a perfect blend of savory, salty, sweet, fluffy, and creamy. It managed to pack every positive ice cream adjective into one scoop. Service: The staff was attentive and sociable, especially if you’re up for a chat. One of the owners was there, and you could feel the pride in his work and the freshness of the product, all made in-house. Atmosphere: It’s primarily a grab-and-go spot. There’s a single bench that seats about three people, but it’s really designed for takeout. Overall: This is a must-visit spot, even if it’s a bit out of the way. The unique flavors add a sense of novelty to every visit and have raised the bar for what I expect from ice cream.
